mxihockey 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2008 http://www.globalsportscamp.com/I received a brochure/application for this tournament in Canada. I then emailed the president of the tournament and he said one of their scouts had seen me play, and thats why I got the invite. Does anyone have any info. on this tourny. Is it "legit" with lots of NCAA scouts or is it another money maker? Thanks
BigDipper 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2008 Hey buds...I'm canadian and have heard of this one in particular. No scout saw you play. I hate to break it you. It more or less is a money maker yes. Tier II junior a teams may go and see you play but the honest truth is, as an american is harder for them to get you to play so they stick to thier players north of the border. I wouldn't go if it were me. But, its up to you.
mxihockey 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2008 Thanks for the info. Are there NCAA coaches like they list on the website? It doesn't say it's all junior team scouts. http://www.globalsportscamp.com/Scouts.html-
