What is the difference. I ran across the following skates on Ebay. So my question is what is the difference between these skates or skates that are custom ordered with say white felt tongues? Or do all custom skates come with that tag?

All Vapor skates come with the red tag on the tongue, retail or not.

They are custom - all custom tags come with a strip of white hockey tape on the inner part of the tendon guard denoting the pattern number and size. You can see it in the first picture.

Thanks JR. What is the time frame for ordering custom skates? Also I'm currently in Bauer 7000s and wear them Paul Coffey style...about 2-3 sizes smaller than my tennis shoe size. I want to wait and see what the One 95 skate has to offer before I decide on those or Vapor XXXXs. If I go with the One 95s how long will I have to wait to order a custom pair after they are initially released?

My guess is April 1 when they will take custom orders. That being said, it'll be done in 6-8 wks.

Am I looking at the same turnaround time on Vapors? Sorry for the 20 questions but are both the One 95 and Vapor XXXX custom order skates made in Canada?

I wear custom order Bauer 7000's and they were made to look like a ONE90. MY opinion it's defintely worth it. I've been ordering custom for almost ten years now. The wait time is defintely a pain in the ass. Eeastwesthockey.com is based out of southern california. Talk to a guy named Jason. Really good guy and extremely knowledgeable. Their upcharge on a custom order for bauer is only 65. Which is dirt cheap considering what you are getting. Thier turnaround time is 6-8 weeks as well. He will work with you over the phone and determine what you need and want.
