Bauer pants

hey all. Anyone know any differences between the supreme and the vapor pants? Is it like the skates where there are style differences

Also does anyone own any of these pants? I'm replacing my 6 year old girdle. Thanks!

I own One90 pants and they are amazing. I love them. So comfortable and mobile, feels like you're not wearing any. I haven't tried the Vapor series though, but I'm sure someone has tried both. I can't really tell any differences that are significant from what I've seen though.

I also have one90 pants, at first they did feel short like you said but I find I have more mobility in them and don't notice the shorter feel now. The only problem I have with them is the belly pad that comes up hangs out a little and looks retarded if my jersey comes up lol. But other than that there sweet! I don't know anything about the vapor series pant though sorry.

My one90's were a tad short as well (I'm 5'10" = only ave. height). My one90's were a great pant..... however, I got rid of them to skate in Tackla Silver 44s.

yeah, I know. The Silver 44s are suppose to be a bottom-end (at least I guess so) Tackla pant. I've got to tell you though, they are even lighter (just as protective) and more mobile than the one90s.... right out of the box! Feels like you're wearing nothing. I've had some tough collisions in the boards & on the ice too = no problems. Surprised by these!. Anyway, just my .02!

I sport the one90s, they are really comfortable, light pants and I have no issues with the belly pad. I know the major difference between the two pants is that the vapors have tapered legs. I tried the vapors when shopping for pants and they were too constricting for my liking. I'm partial to looser fitting legs on pants.

Regarding length, I'm 6'4" and wear a Sr. Lg., the pants hit at the top of my kneecap, which I think is long enough. Once kneepads are on, I am well protected.

I recently got the One90's and i hated them. To me they feel heavy, bulky, and over protective. I was coming from Bauer 4000's that I loved but got pretty trashed over a couple seasons of use. Luckily I found another pair and returned the One90's. Just my 2 cents.

I also wear one90s. They are fantastic pants as others have said. I'm not sure that the vapor pants have leg zippers. Also the vapors do tend to have a more "snug" fit. Its all PP, so I suggest trying both on at your LHS and seeing which ones you like best.

My one90s in size Large are only about 1/2" or so shorter(on my body) than my XXL 692s... So glad I was able to buy a pair of pants that fit length and waist.

The vapors are tighter in the legs, don't have zippers and according to a teammate they have lackluster butt protection.

The ONLY thing I don't like about the one90 pants is the belly flap, eventually I'll fix it... Waaay too big.

I Have the vapor XXX Lite and I personally really like them. For me they have offered all the protection I need. I am able to move around easily and all. They felt a little short to begin with but the shortness has done nothing to hurt me.

No my One90's don't feel short at all, about half way over my knee. I'm 6'1" and in a M. Coming from some Jr. XL Nike Quests anything felt longer though. Man I loved those pants though, lightest pants I've used, and sooo mobile.

Just curious, do the Bauer 4000's have a thick belly pad like the one90's, that also ends up flapping over toward the front??? Or, is it thin and more 'subdued'????

Much appreciated!

I'm looking for something a little looser. I'm not you're typical sizing chart kinda guy at 6'6 (all torso hight- average length legs) (according to the bauer nike chart, i'm XXL). Any suggestions besides the One90 or is that a good bet?

If you want something not as tight as the one90 see if you can find the Bauer 8000 on closeout they are a great pair of pants had it for 2 years now very light durable and excellent all around protection and i have seen them for around $80 these days on clearance.

I bought a pair of One90 pants and well and love them. Only issue for me was the velcro at the bottom inside of the leg zippers. I like to keep mine unzipped and I had to cut the velcro strips off. No biggie though.
