How to cut an OPS stick

Hey I just did a few searches and couldn't find what i'm looking for, I broke the blade on my Innovative true 1 ops, and i want to cut it to make it a shaft, I noticed there is a line down near the bottom of the shaft is that where i cut it? I know that this has been talked about and you're probably going to be annoyed but if someone would be nice enough to explain to me how to cut and where to cut my stick it would be greatly appreciated.

cut it on that line..... then if there is graphite and its not hollow keep going up little by little untill its hollow and you can fit a TAPERD blade in
