1) Yes.

2) You could use the same holder but the runners would need to be the "wrong" size for the holder and basically they would be the same length.

3) For the holder, yes. For example, the size of the LS2 is 280, in LS2P you would want a 280 as well.

My advice is to wait for the LS2.1

You could place a TuuK lightspeed 2 power holder on the Vapor XXV.

http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/y...22_1985_1768482

^^^ That is a picture of the XXXX's with it, the XXV's come standard with the same holder (LS2) as the XXXX's just different color, so the LS2 will fit on the XXV boot just like the XXXX in the picture.

As for your runners, the LS2 Power blade is only capable with the LS2 Power holder so your runners for the LS2's that came with your XXV's will be no good.

Hope this helps

so i would need to get the LS2 Power blade?

If you want to put the Power holder on your skates you will need the LS2 Power runners, yes

and i would order the same stamp number for the runner as the holder?

Yes, the LS2 Power runner is designed to be longer for max ice contact for max speed, the LS2 Power holder would be the same size as your LS2 holder according to the stamp.

LS2P runner fits in the LS2 holder, but not the correct size runner. The end result is the same size runner. Seen it done a lot.

Everything else just sounded like an echo.

it's cool, it's always better to have someone back up info... Yeah, seen at least 3 different pairs posted in the show it off thread. Odd that it fits tight in the LS2 and loose in the LS2P, haha.

What we haven't got a real answer on is whether the LS2P steel is really an 11' radius... Which would be the only difference between the LS2P steel and the LS2 steel.

I don't know much about contouring or radius's but couldn't you just contour your skates to put just as much blade on the ice as the LS2P with a LS2 Runner?

Of course. But that's an extra step that a lot of people wouldn't think to do first. It's annoying having to get a profiling job done when you get new steel.

Believe me, none of my shops around here profile. Last time, I had to fedex it to someone that knew what they were doing... AND it was in the middle of the season so it had to be overnighted both ways so I could get it before my coaching session.

When comparing LS2 to LS2 Power on my blademaster radius guides ive found the LS2 to be right around a 9ft radius and the LS2 Power to be very close to a 11 ft radius. IT makes sense, the longer the steel the bigger radius your going to have and thats what is suppose to make the LS2 Power so much better then the LS is that more blade is touching the ice which makes you faster, lol!!!

In my opinion the LS2 Power is crap. Ive done more repairs on broken LS2 Power steel this year then any other make and model. They all break in the same exact spot too. Right where the threaded hardware graps onto the steel theres always a vertical crack right at that point!! Id just save your money and wait for the new LS2.1 to come out. LS holders but they adapted the longer steel to fit into the holders
