Odor-Aid and Stick-It Sports Wax

Recommended Posts

Just looking for some feedback on these two products that we recieved some free samples for:

1. Odor-Aid sports sanitizer. Comes in a bottle that looks more like a shampoo/conditioner. Best part about the bottle is it can be sprayed upside-down making hard to reach areas accessible. It's a bit early to comment on how this product has worked for me seeing as it will take a while for the full effects to take shape. Ok smell to it as well.

2. Stick-It Board and Blade Wax Looks like a deodorant. Easy application. The next best thing to Dr. Zog's Sex Wax that I've come across (and now you don't have to explain to horrified mom's that you're not trying to sell their seven-year-old "sex" wax)

Sorry if there is ample information on these already. I tried a search, but the server may be messed up. I got no results when I searched for "wax".

I've sold the odor-aid for a month now and have heard some good replies so far. I mention that it contains a little chlorine to kill bacteria, rather than cover it up with perfumes, and that gets them listening a bit.

As for the wax, I haven't been able to talk folks into spending 4 times the price for what many customers still think is unneccessary. After a summer of warm soft wax floating around in a hot hockey bag, I'm guessing the case will have more merrit.

We got the same samples I've used the odor-aid for like a week. So far, no change yet. Pretty neat smell though. As for the wax, I never really use it, but will try it since its free.

My bag is stinky, well beyond help. Let's see if this odor-aid stuff is worth its salt.

blade wax is the kind that comes in the black deodorant style applicator, correct? i bought a stick of it and have shelfed it since i bought sex wax. i hate to say it, but blade wax is harder to apply and chunks off too easily. it also doesn't last as long as sex wax and ice builds up a lot quicker (although that could depend on how well the application is). you're better off selling sex wax as it is clearly the superior product, as far as i know.

odor-aid is great

smells good and it's nice to spray but funkfree still works the best in terms of last

one spray through of that stuff and your gear smells like funk free for a long time

I've been selling KUE for the past few months.

Odor-Aid does well for us. I haven't stocked the stick wax but Ken has given me a couple of samples. Guys around here like Sex-Wax.

I'd really love to get Dr. Zoggs in the store, but the owner isn't too keen on having a product called "Sex Wax". He's a bit conservative there, I guess. My idea is to have a sign advertising "Dr. Zoggs" and have the actual product out of sight, but hey.

I think its Cool temperatures...cold is to soft, warm to hard, which I had left from surfing. The 'Hockey' Wax also is signed as Cool on their page. I wanted to order here in Germany from a surf shop, but my old wax lasts sooo long. (got it from miracle stone).

Er, actually, the only things that *kill* are high-concentration alcohol, bleach, high-temp steam and ozone. So said the RN I talked to about sterilization.

Sno Seal is maybe the best waterproofer you can get - beeswax and silicon. Just don't use it for roller...

It's good for older goalie pads too, or stuff made out of the retro-style 'Bucky' synthetic leather they commissioned for the pads in 'Miracle'.

I've been using it on my tape for a while now, and it has two huge advantages: easy application (it's malleable at room temp) and way better water resistance than a pure wax.

wouldn't the chlorine be harmful to materials?
