Sucks that they will be out of jobs. But thats the bargain you take when you join a MAHL team. Pretty childish, not only are they unemployed...they will be paying fines out the ass for a long time.

If i thought the owner of my team owned the hotel i can kind of see their point in trashing it cause your mad you lost your job and are SOL, but other than there is no real logical reason to do it....you are an athlete so show respect for people and for things, you never know who might be watching or who might here about something like this, people could think the worst of you and associate you with a bad group

It is not like that was their primary job. They didnt make but $30-$150 a game. Some of the player came from NEHL which folded as well...they should be used to it by now....

anyway, i think it's incredibly disrespectful and immature. i'm all for drowning there sorrows in alcohol but trashing something historic that many people enjoy is inexcusable IMO

Seriously, criminal charges and blackballing from hockey would be a start. If I'm a team owner or GM, there's no way I'd look at a single one of these guys involved.

Sorry, typo. At best one or two might get a cup of coffee in the ECHL, and while I would love to have that opportunity, they still aren't going anywhere.
