Rosey 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2008 6'2" 150 pounds of FURY! I play goalie so I don't really have to worry about scrumming in the corners. I do look super duper skinny even in the goalie pads, and I get more than my share of pucks hitting my belly and going in anyway because I'm only 18 inches wide at the midsection... although my team is in first place in the league, so having a really skinny guy isn't too much of a liability. As Don Beaupre used to say "I just have to stop the puck, I don't have to beat it to death."
top-shelf 1 Report post Posted April 7, 2008 5'11" and 140lbs...fortunately, I only play roller hockey. Putting on some size on my frame would help, but its not really necesarry since checking isn't a big part of the game.

I was sick for two weeks and lost 4 lbs and dropped to 142, agggh. It's hard for me to eat when I seriously sick, food is the last thing I want to see. I'm actually planning on moving to ice soon in what is said to be a non-contact league as well. It's not clean hits that worry me, (I actually have a football player build so I take hits up high ok) it's the dirty ones.
