Vermette20 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2008 I wonder what division they will play in? Probably the same as Cin. Looks like I will be seeing the Toledo Walleye in Elmira in 2009. For me it was a happy day when Elmira left the UHL to go to the ECHL, way better hockey. number21 3 Report post Posted February 22, 2008 I grew up just across the state line from toledo in bedford MI.Why did the Storm fold?From what i have just seen online, it seems like they are just renaming the team because they are moving to a new stadium.I think the Storm was a better. Penguinsfanatic 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2008 Well they need to get a new arena, they ice surface at the old won was so small it wasn't even funny. you could take 2 steps from the red line and be over the blue line and there was room for just about 1 man behind the net and it was horrible....but they didn't fold the team was bought by the owners of the Toledo Mud Hens because they have some money so they bought them up and are building a new arena and since they don't have an arena they just decided to not have hockey in toledo till october 2009...so new arena new teambut here is a link that you can go to and check out their logo....at first when i heard the name i didn't like it but the logo is pretty sweet and its starting to grow on me lol http://www.toledowalleye.com/ Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
