CCM Pro Tack skates 03/04 VS 05/06

Does anybody know for sure if the 2003/2004 line and the latest Tacks (the ones with the lacelocks, 2005/2006 I beleive) are similar lengthwise? I know the holders (Pro Lites & E-Pros) differs in sizing but how about the actual boot?

I.e. would a size 10.0 2006 Pro Tack with a 287mm E-Pro holder and a size 10.0 2004 Pro Tack, with a 295mm Pro-Lite holder, be exactly the same length with regards to the boot?

The model years are so close it makes it hard to say that someone will have personal experience for the specific models you're looking for (as those skates are meant to last longer than 2 years).

HOWEVER, in case it helps? I had 1152's and the '05 pro tack. I found the '05 pro tack just slightly longer than the 1152's. However, the pro tacks I had were also an E width so can likely chalk a bit of it up to my heel sitting further back in the skate.

Overall? My guess is you'll be fine and that both will be equivalent.
