Feedback on Michalek Blade and Bauer XV Pants

Just ordered two Michalek pro stock Warrior blades from Monkey as well as a pair of Bauer/Nike Vapor XV Lite pants.

Anyone using the Michalek that can give me some feedback? Looks like a nice mid curve ala Shannahan. Had a Iginla Easton blade on my Dolo b/c I liked how light it was but after it broke last week during a game, I had to use my Easton Synthesis with a Sakic blade. Realized I had more puck control with the larger and heavier blade so I figured I'd go to the Michalek.

Also, anyone using the Bauer XV Lite pants, I would appreciate your experiences as well. I'm only playing pick-up hockey these days with relatively little contact. I mainly want something light and easy to skate in. I'm a little concerned that it might be too little protection but I have been using old Easton Octane pants...I don't think you can get a lower end pant than that.

Dude, you might want to rename your thread. Naming it simply "my recent order from Monkey" isn't going to lead people with answers to your question. For instance, when I saw it I thought you were going to talk about some problem you had with your order.

Short of that, consider (just a helpful suggestion to a newbie) retitling the thread so someone knows you're wanting to ask about the pants and the curve.
