gagner89 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2008 On a budget, the 2 week ones work well too - they are made slightly thicker (according to my eye doc anyways) so they last longer.I use some from Bosch and Lomb? (sp.) and I've never had problems whether that's in game without a visor or pre/post game skates without my helmet on.
RadioGaGa 162 Report post Posted March 12, 2008 I bought a 6 month supply of 30-day contacts over 2 years ago, and just put in my last new pair this morning. I only wear them for hockey...and softball night games when I can't wear my prescription sunglasses.I put them in right before I go to hockey and take them out as soon as I get home...The only days I wear them all day is when I am leaving for hockey right from the office, and I don't want to have to carry both contacts and glasses.A pair will last a few months before I toss them. Viking 1 Report post Posted March 16, 2008 The thirty day ones are what I wear too. They last forever, because I don't really wear them other than for sports. I buy a three month supply of them, and my prescription usually changes before I run out. Daily ones just seem like a waste. When I don't need them, they just sit in the medicine cabinet in the case, and I don't worry about them, so I don't see daily ones as more convenient. Just more expensive. royals07 0 Report post Posted March 16, 2008 they do sell those goggles that wrap around your head. you've seen some basketball players wear them, and they seem to be pretty comfortable. it's kinda like a pair of swim goggles but bigger, and a cloth elastic band wraps around your head. your best bet though, is to wear contacts.
