Public session skating + Skating in gear

With or without gear feels pretty much exactly the same to me, but only if i have my stick along with my gear. Skating with full pads but no stick feels weird to me, with stick, it feels normal. I skate just as hard and fast with or without any or all padding.

whenever i go to stick and puck, i always feel 'naked' without my gear on for the first 5 minutes or so. then i adapt and feel fine.
