hockeyplaya97 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2008 Hey guys, need help here. My S17 has a crack running about 3/4 of the bottom of the blade. As a result, the blade flexes a lot. Is there anything I can do to maintain stiffness/fix this?PICS:http://img185.imageshack.us/img185/5959/dsc00152io1.jpghttp://img241.imageshack.us/img241/796/dsc00151fa9.jpg

AnthonyJTa 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2008 maybe some epoxy? even then, it may only be a temporary fix... not looking good, my friend.
hockeyplaya97 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2008 Yeah I know I'm pretty SOL because it's my warranty replacement, just trying to squeeze the last bit of life out of it. The epoxy thing, I might try. I'll try to post results whatever I do.
D aka speck 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2008 You might be able to send it to SRS. Thier # is 1.800.681.9425. I would call them to ask if it is repairable first, then see if they'll do it. If they won't do it you could at least ask them for a recommendation on a shop to ship it to.
hockeyplaya97 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2008 Thanks a lot for all the replies guys. How much does SRS typically cost for blade repair?

iggy777 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2008 CCM has pretty good customer service too; i broke my v10,on warranty, last year and it took about 2-3 months for a v10 catapult to come as they were out of v10's. They sent me two v130's to use until then and then they sent me 3 v10 catapults :D
