Mission AGX

Hey, can someone give me the lowdown on the new Mission AGX skates? I did a search. I'm wondering if the fit is similar to the S500 and the 120AG - my previous perfectly fitting skates. I know they have the XP stiffeners now, are they much stiffer. Also, does the relativley low price mean that they are not a top of the line skate? Any and all details from experience would be appreciated. Thanks.

im not sure about the s500, but the agx has a wider heel than the ag does. depth and width in the forefoot is the same, just wider heel. and no the agx is not their top end boot, which remains the 120 ag if im not mistaken

120 AG and XP remain as the top shelf skates, but don't let price be your determining factor here. the boot is overbuilt for the money. the skates don't make the man so much as the man makes the skates. if you would like a stiffer AG the AGX may be what you are looking for.

I for one, cannot wait to a shop near me to get them in... I wish my sharpener was still open, he was a Mission guy

Zac, do the AGX fit anything like the Syndicate line? I need a EE in the syndicates and have no idea what the mission ice line fits like.

they are indeed similar. not exactly the same as their are some subtle differences however. you will notice that the Ice Line is a Close To The Foot Fit and that the Syndicate Series ( save for the obvious Roller Features ) has more substantial ankle packs. both have exceptional fit and heel lock. you should not have any complaints with the AGX. as to your EE- do you have very stocky ankles/heels?
