Bauer ONE75's

Hi everyone! I'm new to the board but I've already found a wealth of information on here. I'm just getting back into the game after not playing since high school because of lack of funds, school/work, etc. I can't wait to play again! :D Naturally, after 10 years, I've outgrown most of my gear and I've gotten almost everything new except skates as they still fit but are pretty beat and now I think its time for new ones. I'm one of the last people it seems to be still skating on old Bauer Supreme Custom 4000's!

I've been browsing the Web and this board and I had no idea how involved selecting the right skate can be. I looked at the new line for 2008 and the Supreme ONE75 strikes my interest along with the Vapor XXXX but I am open to other makes/models.

I'm coming from Supreme 4000's and I'm wondering how different of a fit either model would be for me. The 4000's fit me pretty well, however they may be a touch too big. The width seems fine. Also, I've called around to a few local shops here on Long Island and most seem to not be getting the ONE75 until June. Does anyone know of a shop that has both the Vapor XXXX and ONE75? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I'm going to be traveling a lot for business shortly and I'd really like to get new skates by next week.

Welcome to the board...but before anyone starts flaming ya about starting this thread.. let me let you in a little secret...There is a handy Search feature, and it'll take some time to get used to the nuances of it, Hell, I'm still learning...but there already is a One95/75 thread, and this question would probably be best posted there, instead of starting a new thread. But again, welcome to the board, and let the addiction begin.

And in my opinion there is nothing that fits like the classic mid 90s supreme skates ... close would be Graf 705, G5 etc.

Never tried one90s (and one95s) though ...
