D aka speck 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2008 Hey, how do you guys insert pictures into your posts? I cannot figure it out... I searched, I couldn't find anything. For the ones that do not know bracket code...bold done by adding (without spaces) [ b ] before word "bold" and [ / b ] to end bold text.more examples:italic = [ i ] the word "italic" [ / i ]underline = [ u ] the word "underline" [ / u ] To add a pic use (without spaces or parentheses) [ img ] (image URL) [ / img ]
fatwabbit 93 Report post Posted April 19, 2008 Hey Dwayne, not sure how the control panel comes up on your screen.I've just used the buttons to do the alterations to the font and type face.Basically just type what you want and select the words that you want to bold, italicise (*spelling) or whatever.as for images, I normally use photobucket. Accoutn set up is free, and all you need to do is cut the portion and paste it in your posts.not sure if I've really added any value. fool aroudn with the functions a little... if you are trying it out for the first time, maybe send a PM to yourself first to see how it turns out. That way, you learn from mistakes.

Chadd 916 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 There's really very little need to put bold or italics in posts. That said, we've been working on a "how do I?" section. Momentum died before it was completed. If I get some spare time in the hotels next week, I'll get back on it.
