wickedwrister 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 Hello,My wife just traded phones with one of her friends and got a Palm Treo 650. We were wondering how to get the old owners name out of the phone. When we tried to sinc, the old info pops up. We changed the owner name in the preferences, but still does not work when sincing. Any help would be appreciated. Looked online, but very vague. After it's all good, go back to Handheld oveotrwrites Desktop.Went to the Alltel store (we are both customers) and had my wife's Razr phone book imported into the 650 and the phone #s swapped. I assumed that they would have wiped clean the 650 BEFORE importing the info and they did not. Found this out after we got home. They did however erase the Razr prior to giving it to the friend. How do/ can we reset the 650 without loosing the 75 or so #s that we need? Do we hand write the #'s on paper, erase the whole thing and start over? Whole other issue is getting her old Palm Tungsten info to the treo (on Windows Vista) to the new MacBook we just bought for all of our future needs.
