Penguinsfanatic 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2008 Hey I was wondering what the best wheel would be for a concrete surface. I play at an outdoor rink and am looking to buy some new wheels that will hold up, but I just don't know what to buy.I'm a fast skater and usually turn fast and hard. I also like to stop quick like a hockey stop. I don't know if these descriptions help of how I skate, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
TheBert 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2008 Skate fast and turn hard? I don't think many players like to do any of that. I skate like Stephen Hawking and turn like a limo, so I'm no help. But the search would probably help http://www.modsquadhockey.com/forums/index...ncrete+%2Bwheel
nummer55 10 Report post Posted April 28, 2008 Try the Revisions in Bronze... Better always mention your weight when looking for a good wheel. Could be an important factor.
ricepow 14 Report post Posted April 28, 2008 I got some of the Rink Rat World Cup outdoor hockey wheels for my Tour Code 1s. I am skating on a similar surface as you. I was using the Labeda Dynastys that came on the skates out there and was sliding all over the place. Got the Rink Rats and they definately helped. By no means can I skate like I can on Sport Court (fast sharp turns, stops, quick take offs), but I feel more comfortable knowing they will grip a little bit.
