One55 Quality for a mid-price skate?

Recommended Posts

I'm thinking of either buying a pair of one55s or one75s. I'm an intermediate adult player and am just curious if the extra $200 is worth it for someone at my age/level playing a couple times a week. I was only able to try on a pair of the one75s and really loved the fit. I just don't know if I want to spend all that extra cash if its not going to be worth it to me. So, is the one55 a good quality skate considering all the variables? Also, none of the shops around me carry the one55, so I'd have to go through the internet...which I'd rather not do

Skates are the most important pieces of gear you will buy. I would rather drop some money for a good skate that will last a long time then buy new cheaper skates every couple of years.

If you loved the one75's then maybe you should just go for them.

The One75 is very similar to the One90. As JR said, it's Pro Level.

If you are a bigger guy I would definitely say go with the One75 because I think you might break down the One55 quickly if you are playing a few times a week.

If the One75s felt right, then I think you have your answer right there.
