Dyeing White 9k's

Is it possible to dye the white leather part of the RBK 9k White skates? Has anyone ever done this? If so, what dye and/or procedure would you use? Are there any special dyes you would recommend, or should I just take the skates to a shoe repair store and have them do it? Also, would this have any negative effect on the durability of the skate? Any input would be appreciated!

I think RIT dye might work though, or any other leather dye.

I'd probably let the shoe repair do it... what color are you going? Also put pics up when they are done.

The only reason I'm getting WHITE 9ks is because that is all they have in stock. I don't like the white, so I wanted to dye them a simple black or brown.

Black show polish? Might last/cover a little longer than black marker/paint.

white skates are the way to go..i sport a pair of white 9k's now and there nice but im starting to wonder how grafs feel b/c some look sick in white

Don't be judging skates because of the looks now... you got to get whats fits no matter how ugly a pair of skates are .. "as long as they fit."
