I searched but couldn't find any definite answer. I want to get a bauer xx stick at my local store, but if I cut it 3 or 4 inches, will I void the manufacturer warranty? I couldn't find anything in their warranty info that says I cant do it.

No you will be fine its more against breaking it against the post, snapping the blade yourself etc..

Yeah, the things that void a warranty are misuse and abuse, including trying to use open flames on the stick and attempting to alter the curve.

If cutting the stick short caused any issue I'm sure the stick companies would be selling junior length sticks for everyone and make 2 foot extensions available.
