Idaho hockey?

Is there anyone from the Boise area on this forum? I'm somewhat new to the area and am trying to get some information on local shops and leagues. I know about Idaho Ice World and their league and shop, but is there anything else?

I might have been spoiled in Colorado, but I can't believe that there would only be one local shop here...

I'm from Sun Valley, which is about 2 hours up the road from Boise. I've been at prep school this year, but before I left there was only the one shop at ice world. I'm not really sure what kind of adult leagues they have there, but I know that we have a pretty competitive mens league team that sometimes plays teams from Boise. You're pretty much out of luck as far as pro shops though. What we used to do was buy everything off the internet. The prices at Ice World are pretty jacked up most of the time though.

Thanks for the link. I actually used that awhile ago to get some of the information I have now. I'm not sure how accurate it is because some of those rinks it has listed I'm pretty sure don't exist.

I'm pretty sure the only rinks are Ice World, and the arena where the Steelheads (ECHL) play.

you can explore that a little bit. as far as shops go, the pro shop at ice world isn't bad but the prices can get out of hand sometimes. i also live in sun valley, i'm back east at prep school though, and i believe that there is going to be pickup in sun valley everyday until june 29th if you were willing to make the trip.
