Mission Intake helmet

Recommended Posts

Hi, I just got a mission intake helmet and when I was trying it on at my LHS, the guy working there adjusted the MHL in the back. Does anyone know how I can do that, or any other adjustments on this helmet that I should know about to make it fit my head better? Thanks.

It does come with a pamphlet instructions on the box that it comes in, but the owner of my LHS put the cage on for me, so when I picked it up I didn't take the box with me. Can't you adjust the MHL somehow?

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the beauty of the MHL is that it does not use any specific adjustments. As long as the helmet fits you correctly, the MHL will do its thing.

My Intake does not have an MHL adjustment. It's sort of springy and self adjusts. I was looking at a Bauer helmet while getting my skates sharpened and it clearly had a more rigid, adjustable and locking piece back there. I've seen newer Intakes that looked a little different back there but still no mechanical adjustment.

The MHL is the the springy thing... I'm 100% sure it says it right on head lock, I also have the Bauer 8000 helmet, trust me, they are basically the same thing except you can adjust the Bauer one so it doesn't move.
