new skates

im thinking of new skates to get to replace my tour code 9's. I was looking at the old easton z air boot and the sprung chassis. but then noticed some other skates like kor shift 1's and ccm tacks 892 and other roller hockey skates.

Im wondering is there any benefit of getting a roller skate over a a ice skate and converting them.

My other question is if i got a pair of ice skates and put the frame from my formula 9's on there would it fit. and if i change the frame afterwards and the holes do not line up is that a problem or can something be done about that
