Ok I just bought all new gear(RBK). I have to take the thigh boards out because i cant use them so i bought the RBK knee guards. The problem that i am having is when i put on the knee guards, they slip down my leg and into the leg channel. I was wondering if there was any way that i can connect the kneeguards to the inside of my pants.(RBK Pro Pants).

Why CAN'T you use the thigh boards? I mean, you're third string anyway :P If no one else can come up with any ideas, I might be able to rig you up. Put some eyelets in the pants and knee pads, and lace em together. Might not look the best, but it could work. Depends on how much material there is to work with. Bring them in some rainy day when you got a day off, and I'll have a look at em.

You can try using some garters for socks. Thats what I ended up doing for a tiny bit. They worked pretty well. Did you get the knee pads with the hard cap? or the new 08 knee pads. If money too much of an issue, the 08 versions come with garters and they seem to be more solid. Take a look: http://goaliemonkey.com/rbk-goalie-knee-pr...s-premier2.html

Hope that helps!

I don't wear socks and the RBK's don't move one bit. I too would recommend spending the extra $30 bucks instead of trying something that seems to me that won't function as well. If anyone would like more pics of RBK knee pads please don't hesitate to ask! :)
