gxc999 7 Report post Posted July 18, 2008 I think he's still fuming over getting ripped off in the Forest Griffin fight. I was even rooting for Forest, actually most of the bar was, but we were stunned at the decision. It wasn't my first UFC either. The fix was in...

gxc999 7 Report post Posted July 18, 2008 Forrest just plain whooped Jackson's ass. Rampage said so himself.I really hope you watched it, otherwise, you're being fed misinformation. Rampage was being extremely modest and probably had some idea of what was going on. Forest landed 1 clean punch the entire fight, and no clean kicks. He never got in a submission and didn't dominate on the mat. If anything, he was lucky to have the time on the mat called at all in his favor. Griffin was dominated in power striking. His little knee knocker kicks didn't do jack squat except for a moment in the second round. Look at their faces, Forest bled all over the mat, was busted wide open etc and Rampage had not a single knick or bruise. One of the guys I watched the fight with was am amateur kickboxer for several years and was going to go into UFC until he blew his knee out. He didn't think Forest won either. 15yearsofhistory 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2008 From what I understand, Rampage is now in a hospital being mentally evaluated. It appears that his friends were worried about his mental state due to things he had been saying recently.

Tricky4L 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2008 This isn't the first time a questionable decision has happened in favor of an arguable fan favorite.Anyone remember the Bisping v. Hamill match in London last September? Bisping was in his home territory, undefeated record, and had quite the rivalry going with Hamill since their Ultimate Fighter appearances. Hamill dominated the entire match yet still lost in a split decision 29-28. Hamill said right after the match that Bisping had won and that was it, which was a smart move so as not to alienate the organization or judges used and keep good standing in UFC. Even Dana White came out and said he had the bout scored 30-27 in favor of Hamill. Jackson saying he was beat was smart for his career more than anything and shouldn't be taken as his true opinion. A fighter saying the fight was fixed with that much attention on them right after a fight could be extremely detrimental to the relationship between the athletic commission providing the judges and the UFC regardless of how questionable the outcome. White has said it before, "Don't leave it in the hands of the judges".
UnTcHaBl21 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2008 Ra,page is a weird guy though. i watched a video where he was referring to himself in third person and say "Rampage is a BEAST...He[Rampage] Don't lose to no one and if he does, He'll eat them"...now tell me that, that isn't weird.
