youth skates & baking

Recommended Posts

searched & found nothing

It's not clear to me whether even the high end youth models (XXXX, S15 etc) support heat molding? If so then how well do they respond to it?

matherials used for youth skates seem to be quite different from SR & even JR models - different quarters, different foams etc

Thanks!

When we bought my sons NBH XXXX youth at a LHS they baked them there for us. Seemed like he know what he was doing. Hope that helps. Not sure if the bake times are the same.

Ok - I ended up buying youth S15 for my son - there's no baking instructions or anything else like that included

no offence but like all of us LHS workers do stupid things sometimes, so just because someone did bake skates doesn't really meant they should have

having that said could please someone in the know confirm whether or not it's Ok to bake youth easton S15 skates?

Also does it even make much of a difference as it's a VERY different skate then junior/senior model.
