Spinal Rollovers

i have a bronze cross exam tomorrow (those who don't know what it is probably won't be able to helP) and i need major work on my spinals (where you hafta immobilize a cervical spinal and roll them over so they're face up). does anyone have any tips or suggestions as to how i can make it easier? my main problem is that it's too rough and i tend to sink alot
