Travis Barker in Critical Condition

hopefully they both make a full recovery. And plus 44 will continue to produce music :)

he's a good drummer though

both are expected to. I don't know about you but Plus 44 seems musically to me, like Mark and Travis with two guys replacing Tom. There isn't much difference between +44 and Blink's last album in my opinion.

I agree. That's pretty much exactly what it is. Mark and Travis wanted to keep producing the same "style" music while Tom wanted to go a different route, which is apparent with Angels & Airwaves

Yes, I for one prefer AVA over +44, but i think that's because when I listen to +44 its painfully clear something is "missing". I saw AVA in concert about two years ago....small club in the albany area, by far one of the best live band experiences i've ever had.

Had the pleasure of meeting all three of them a few years earlier....downright great guys, shame that they broke up

I listen to both, but I definitely agree... it's a shame they broke up.

they were just starting to produce a more "mature" punk rock music.

When I was like 13-17 the older Blink (Enema of the state, take off your pants and jacket, etc.) was my #1 music of choice.

After my best friend in high school had a motorcycle accident and was burned over 30% of his body in 3rd degree burns, and personally hearing the agonizing screams of his and others for the "daily scrubbings" and removal of bandages....I would never wish that upon anyone. It changed his life forever, and changed my perspective on a lot of things that I do in my daily life forever also.
