I just got some Vapor XXXX skates online, and am wondering if I NEED to bake them? Am I going to be missing out on anything if I don't bake them?

Yes I know(I should have bought them in my LHS(Pure Hockey) but my parents make me buy all my own gear so I try to save as much as I can.

no, these are not NEED TO bake skates...try em out for a while, if they don't give you any hot spots, or soreness...You're Set...if they do, try baking them
