I hate the idea of ads on equipment, all over the ice, etc. Having seen some European games on TV, it gives me the shudders (ads everywhere).

If the league could honestly say that ads like the "Saw" masks were being accepted in order to keep fans' ticket prices down, it might be more reasonable; but I don't think tht would ever be the case.
