confused on "09 equipment"

let me preface this by saying i am in the market for some new skates...

looking at bauer it seems like one95's are brand new and will be here for a while (6-8 months)

where as easton it seems like there's a new line of skates coming soon?

so would i be right to expect eastons "09 skates" to be coming out around the new year (january)?

where as bauers "09 skate" are already here? (one95)

No, all new product comes out in April or June.

Mfgrs are on two-year cycles. ONE95 is coming up on the second year of the cycle, the S17 will start its cycle in Spring 09.

thanks JR, so by buying say SE16's now, i wont get screwed with a whole new lineup coming out in jan/feb

I'm pretty sure no, no Mission line in 2009, Mission doesn't exist anymore since they've been bought by Bauer.
