CCM / Graf Fit Question

Does anyone know what graf model is most comparable in fit to the ccm vector series?

That might be hard to find an exact fit as the CCM boot runs wider, where the Graf tends to be a narrow fitting boot. Maybe if you went with something in a Wide in the graf you might find something close. Try some on and see what you think. Hope you find something that works for you.

I was using Vector's for ice and roller but needed a little bit more room for my high instep. Graf 709's fit like a glove. Love em. You didn't mention what fit issues you are having.

A couple of models fit me pretty good, but I think the 705 type boot is the best for me. I can also go with the regular or narrow, but the narrow is what I have now, and it's pretty good. I had some 502's, I think they were, years ago in a narrow, and really couldn't use them as they were so narrow they just hurt all the time. My foot seems kind of "low volume," except my forefoot widens out a bit. I'd say my foot is regular / narrow, except my forefoot, which isn't narrow.

I should add, what I'd like to do is be able to wear a vector 08, as they're lighter than the grafs, and fit me just right in length, as opposed to bauers, which I just fall inbetween sizes and always have problems with the skate either being a little too long or too short. I've tried the vector 06 on in the shop, unbaked, and it fits ok, but really not as good as the graf. Also, the ccm's seem to fit me better than easton and mission. It's always hard for me to really tell if a skate fits though unless the skates are baked and I skate on them. I'm thinking the ccm's are just too high volume for me though. The main reason I'd like something other than graf is the weight; I really like lightweight skates.

Have you tried on any of the higher end grafs? Try the G35 on see what you think of that

You definitely have to go higher end in Grafs to get anywhere near a fit you have in CCM. The higher end boot in Grafs are wider and deeper than the lower end 700 or G series skates. The 709's, G-9's or 705/G-5's , 707'G-7's are some ot the models you should take a look at.
