Recommended Posts

I just got off the and was checkign out my skates and i noticed that my boot was cracked back at the heel of the skate.

What should I do? buy new skates or keep using them until they get worse and I cant use them

Well if I'm not mistaken, the boot has a 30 day warranty and the holders/steel have one year so you may be out of luck :( BUT, if you've purchased them from a shop, take them back there and ask for an opinion. It's one of the benefits of buying locally from a shop, you never know what they can do to help you out. There's a slim possibility that they could be able to warranty them depending on their relationship with Easton

doesnt the boot have a 90 day warranty?

i would definately see what the store you bought them from could do. Like previously stated they may have a good relationship with easton and sort you out if its a 1st gen pair of s15's or something.

Although it may not be covered by warranty, take it back to the place you bought them or give easton a call. They may be able to fix it or they may even replace it free of charge (with either the old S15 or with a new model being produced like).

At the store I work at, we have had quite a few S15's that have broken in the toe cap etc, Easton has been great about warrantying them. Just like the above said, go to where you bought it, if they aren't of help, Call Easton directly. I am sure one or the other will take care of you.

would that include glue issues for the skates that are almost 1 year old?
