CCM MHP520 Senator Pants/Shell [Pic]

Just picked these up, and wondered if anybody knows whats the deal with the shell (lowers) not having a padded belt, or a belt at all. Anybody know/or have pants where the lower shell (button/slits) are not covered, and are exposed.

My question is for CCM/RBK 520 owners, in the front of the lower shell, do you have the "triangular" padding between the thigh pad and crotch? I think you can see it in the first picture.

The following pictures you can see theres is no padded belt system.

I also have a pair of Bauer Canuck pants, where the slits are covered. But i'm not able to get them to fit with the CCM HP520 uppers. Anybody have experience with this combo? It seeks like the the CCM 520 (Large) is too big/wide, for the Bauer lower shell. (the buttons are too far apart).

You can see from the pictures the slits, are fairly close together. I could try to take pictures of my trying to fit them on the large 520 uppers, but its near impossible.

Looks like you've got an MHP1 lower on a 520 upper.

Not sure about making the bauer fit on the 520- probably need to make your own button holes- just be sure to reinforce them.

The tag on the actual uppers say MHP520SP. I'm positive they are 520s, but just thought it was odd that the CCM lowers didn't have the padded belt system. Its not a big issue, but was just curious to know if others had seen bottoms like that?

As for making my own holes on the Bauer, i think i' will just wait to purchase an upper for it, or pick up a cheap pair and take the uppers from it, and try fit them to the lowers.

My old 520s had both belts on the uppers, nothing on the lowers
