THR Arcadi pads

Our goalie is looking for some new leg pads on the cheap- One of the sets he emailed me about is a Toronto Hockey Repair "Arcadie" model- is this a rebranded SMU or a pad made in house? Any feedback on thses?

They're made in-house (Arcadi is the name of the family that owns the shop), and quite well-made at that. THR is about five minutes from my house, and about half the local goalies I coach wear the Arcadi gear, and all of it looks and plays well. Some of it can be a little behind-the-curve in terms of styling, but that's about the only drawback (and not much of one at that). It' all overseen by a guy who used to build for McKenney (who, in turn, made Montreal's pro gear) - again, slightly stodgy pad design, but top-notch build quality.
