Glove sizing

Recommended Posts

I have some 15" Bauer Supreme 1000 gloves that are getting a little old, and I am looking at perhaps buying myself a new pair. I like the synthetic gloves like I've seen on many of the Bauer Vapor series, which I can only describe by saying that they seem to have a patterned, nylon-like surface as opposed to the shiny, smooth (pseudo-?)leather of the Bauer Supreme gloves I have now.

I am wondering about sizing: should your fingers go all the way to the end, just about, of the glove or should there be more space in there? The 15" ones I have now are comfortable enough, hardly tight in any way, but I am quite willing to consider that they might be a too big. I think that the new 14" gloves feel good enough when I've tried them on, BUT if you are supposed to have more space in the fingers then I would have to get the 15" ones.

What do you think?

(Edit: I checked my old Supreme 1000s, and it turns out they are 14" after all. But if anyone wants to answer this question for future reference or to give advice about my glove selection, it would be appreciated.)
