RBK 8K Resurrektion Skates

Recommended Posts

In the end what ever fits you foot best of course, but personally I'd try and go the CCMs over the RBK as well. While the pump is nice and all, I found that it just didn't hold my ankle in place as well as proper padding does.

also round that price range there is also the Vector 10's

Just looking for some feedback on these skates Here is link to them

http://www.rollerhockeymonkey.com/rbk-roll...ates-8k-sr.html

i really liked my 7k pumps (basicly the same thing except different color). Im really dissapointed i didnt get them again (outgrown) THey were the most comfortable skates ever and i loved the pump feature as i have boney ankles and it really helps.

Kind of of off topic, but I've ordered a pair of RBK 8ks inline skates and i was wondering if i can bake them at my LHS? thanks

Yes these skates are bakeable. I'd recommend baking them, helps the fit alot.

Regards and good luck,

Nelson

I was looking at these too on hockeymonkey, why do the 8k's have abec 9's and the 9k's have abec 7's?

misprint or the fact that 9ks are mini hubs and 8ks are standard

Yeah, I've been skating in my 7k pumps for about a year now, like ncbrock says, they are essentially the same as the 8k's except the colour.

Yes they are comfortable, however the pump blew on my right skate about 3 months into skating in them. IMO, the pump feature is a bit over-rated almost gimmicky. Yes, the pumps do work as advertised, but when it goes, it goes. The ventilation vents are 'ok', I wear moisture wicking socks in mine.

I'd like a rbk 7k without the pump. wish they had that. I fall a lot and I know the bump will get destroyed very quickly.

wouldnt that basically be what the 5K is?
