Yea, stepping down would probably be your best bet to go cheaper and stay as close as possible.

Go S11, i have 1, duribility, ALOT better (imo) ive had it for about 2-3 months now, a few chips, but performance didnt change at all. I have an intermediate w/o the grip. GO S11!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OR just wait till the CCM Octogun comes out, usually CCM sticks are priced lower than other top of the line sticks. :P

You could try to find a closeout Mission Fuel stick, they have the elliptical taper and are pretty cheap most places.
