My Easton Octane

Recommended Posts

Yesterday I was at my skating lesson, not playing hockey, when I fell and my 2 day old stick hit the ice flat. There is no damage, just the blade is a little loose in the shaft. It's like the glue broke. Can I just reheat the shaft/blade and remelt the glue or do I need to get some new glue and pretend I'm replacing the blade?

buy some glue, it will cost less than a quarter at your local craft store. You can never put too much glue on a blade when you put it in a stick. Just wait for the excess to cool before you take it off. It will come off in one or two pieces and not burn you in the process.

Heat it up, and try more glue. If it still persists, then put some blade on the tenon before inserting it again.

??? blade on the tenon??? Could you explain this to me please.
