CCM Vector 08 Pant Repair

Recommended Posts

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows if Peaches Pro Repair does a good job of repairing hockey pants. JR mentioned them in the Glove repalming thread and I saw that they fix other equipment also. Both rear beltloops that are sewn to the inside of the pants that hold the internal belt have torn off. Has anyone else had this happen to their Vector Pants? To me it looks like they could have reinforced the stitching in that area. I have only used them for about two months and I would rather get them fixed instead of wearing suspenders. Like I said, I was just wondering if anyone has had other equipment repaired by Peaches and if they were satisfied with the repair. Thanks.

I have the same pants and after two weeks both front belt loops tore out. My wife sewed the loops back in nice and tight for me. :P To try and stop it from happening again, i pulled the gray belt cushion through both loops. I also pull them on more gently and don't pull it up by the belt.

good luck with the repairs. it's a great pant but those loops could have been constructed better.

I had a similar problem with the belt on my Mission M-1s. I took it to a little tailor shop that does alterations and repairs. He had never done hockey pants before, but he figured it out quickly, triple stitched them with some ridiculously tough thread and charged me a grand total of $6.00. There is no way it is coming unsewn. You might check around your area for something similar. Just a thought.
