Recommended Posts

Does anyone know LHS in Michigan that do palm replacements on gloves? I have a pair of XXXs that are three years old now and the palms are torn to hell.

I was referred to the Ice Box in Brownstown. They have a specialist whos name escapes me. (734) 676-5500‎ is the rink number if you want to call and ask about him.

Thanks Drew, that's a little bit of a hike from where I am though. Currently I live in East Lansing (I go to school at Michigan State), but I live in the downriver area for those of you who know where that is. Dsjunior, your talking about Roy, I'm actually good friends with him, but he doesn't do total palm replacements, he just stitches them. Jrhky, I'm pretty sure Ace went out of business, unless they've moved to a new location, I went by there a month or two ago and there wasn't anything there anymore.

Try FixitBymail.com if you are looking for premium materials like MSH, MSH2, kangaroo goat, Mustang, etc. they work fairly quickly.

Thanks dsjunior, I think I'm going to try that out. I'm a little unfamiliar with the different types of palms like MSH, MSH2, kangaroo goat, and Mustang, can anyone give me some input on them. I also only see the options of genuine leather and durasoft/clarino palms. I'm a little confused by the durasoft/clarino, are those two different palms or one? They make it seem as if it is only one, but on the form they are two different options.
