removing the blade from A TPS r8 stick ?

As the title suggests, can I heat and pull the blade ala XN10 etc. or do I need to cut the shaft ?

Which year are we talking? I have had luck with the black and silver (2007?) model year heating and pulling xn10 style.

No I dont know about those ones...I want to say I remember hearing the r10 was not pullable...still if you already have the stick...give heating it a try, whats the worst that can happen (assuming you are not overheating the shaft)?
