new Eagle gx88 girdle

The kid at my local hockey shop told me that nothing in the 2009 eagle catalog is accurate, due to the fact vaughn bought eagle, and all of eagles new stuff is "scraped". Any truth to that? Or just b.s.? I really like the looks of the new gx88 girlde, but are they going to make it? And if they are going to make this girdle who is going to carry it?

Well, they had the stuff on display at the show and the rep said everything would be shipping.
