Changed Cobra to LS2, and Tuuk question

Recommended Posts

Changed from the Cobra to the Tuuk LS2 on my Grafs, and a big difference. No forward pitch feeling, and in fact feels pretty far back on the heels. I guess this is just getting used to the difference, but it does feel more back on the heels than any skate I think I've skated in. One question on the Tuuks - how do the old style Tuuk Customs + (I think they are called) compare to the LS2 blades, as far as pitch. Are the LS2's more heel oriented?

I believe the Customs are the most "on the heel" feeling of the TUUK holders. The LS2 are awesome. IMHO

I always felt the pitch on the cobras was too far forward. I tried to get used to it, but really couldn't. I was alternating the grafs with some ccm vo6 skates, and liked the pitch of the ccm's, but the graf boot is much nicer. I'd had some bauer skates in the past and liked the tuuks, but the boot never really fit well.

if you like the pitch of ccm's, why didnt you just go with another pair of Epros?

I liked the tuuks from earlier skates, and they didn't seem as far back as the skates I've got now. Probably just something to get used to again.

I did the same thing - swapped out the Cobras for the LS2 holders and steel. My only regret is that I didn't do it immediately. Perhaps some people can adjust to the forward lean, but now I have a great boot and a nice standardish pitch.
