Did a search and didn’t find anything on this topic... Just curious if anyone have any experience with Steve Serdachny of https://www.elitepowerskating.com/ or there videos? Just curious as to what everyone had to say as I was interested in potentially purchasing some of their videos.. Thanks in advance for any insights or suggestions..

Finally, a topic that I can comment on personally. My dad's business is one of his sponsors so I have been squeeking into filled up camps for about 6-7 years now. Steve definetly knows his stuff, as does his brother, Dan, and most of the veteran coaches at the camp. Steve is the Oilers' personal skating coach and works with them on a regular basis. Some of the younger guys seem like they are just there as a job and although former junior and minor pro players, aren't experts on skating mechanics. Overall however, I absolutely recommend the camp. I noticed a HUGE improvement in my skating after the first year or so. The videos are also beneficial and offer specific technique pointers but are a bit slow moving.

I've seen a couple of his older ones, in fact I was in one haha. The 'explosive speed' videos really break down skating technique and how to improve your current stride which I find very beneficial. Some videos offer some stick handling tips and tricks, some of which are fairly challenging and I still can't pull off. Glad I could help :)

He has been at my place twice. he did a really good job and i think if you do his drills a lot of times it will really approve your skating

Haha...it is great stuff. My son likes it, we watch it together from time to time. He has a habit when he starts every single drill of starting it off by saying, "Here we go!"...Anyhow, my son and I have a running joke just about every single time we are getting the car to go to practice or a game...we do our Serdachny impersonation.

He does seem to really know his stuff. Here we go !

Thanks for the replies and opinions guys I do appreciate it! Just a quick update I went ahead and ordered the DVD set and received them today… After previewing them with my daughter I can honestly say that I was impressed with the information and techniques he puts forth and the way he breaks it down and presents it. His techinques seem very simple to understand as well as put forth into action and practice. IMHO money well spent..
