Fixing Broken Thigh Pads in Pants?

Recommended Posts

I have a pair of Easton Air pants '01 or '02 model that I'm in love with but I noticed that one of the plastic thigh pads is cracked in half and the other is snapped in half. I really don't want to buy new pants, but I don't know if it can be replaced. Has anyone ever had their thigh pads replaced?

Is there a reliable cobbler in your area? Someone who repairs hockey equipment? They should be able to take out the pad and install a new one and sew it back together. I always get my pants customized when I get new ones at George's Shoe and Skate repair in St. Paul. They do a lot of breezer/pant repadding.

I believe JR has mentioned another guy:
