My LHS had some junior on display. I noticed that the grip is almost a sand paper like texture. I was wondering if anyone has tried this stick and how does this grip (if any) affect the palms of the gloves?

Thanks

I handled one for a while when our rep was here for booking season. Great feeling stick, incredibly light, just not sure how durable its gonna be. As far as the grip goes I'm not really a big fan of it. I personally think its gonna eat through palms extremely fast, i could be wrong but based on how it felt thats what im thinking!

The CL only comes with the matt texture grip. This is a grip proferred by many pro's. I don't think it is enough to wear on the palm, but it adds a grip without adding the weight.

well if your a pro i doubt they'll worry about their palms on the gloves

On totalhockey.net's description why does it say the CL is 35grams less than the s17? Isnt the S17 the same weight at 405 or 410? Not 440.

Here's some quick advice that concerns all stick brands. The only way to find out the real weight of a stick is to actually weigh it. Pick up a few sticks from different brands and see what you come up with...you might be surprised!

EDIT: For some reason, I thought you were talking about the 10K. I don't really know when this is supposed to come out.
