How do I make a tie down strap ?

Recommended Posts

After a few incidents this past season I decided that it would be a good idea to put one on my jersey. I was just wondering what I would need to use and how to put it all together. If it's important I'm wearing the RBK edge NYR replica jersey, with our team crest applied to it.

A quater and a piece of skate lace.

I'll try and explain...

- put quater on outside of jersey where near the bottom - tie lace around quater on inside of jersy - so your jersey is basically wrapped around the quater on the inside and lace tied tightly around it ("choking" the quarter) - then tie to the back of you pants.

Hope that makes sense - it's really simple but hard to explain without showing.

Thanks, I'm pretty sure I got it now... hopefully it saves me a bit of trouble next season

Do you have a tailor/cleaners or a place that does alterations in your area?

What I would do is bring your jersey there and see what they can come up with as far as a solution. If they can do it, and they should, turnaround should be pretty quick and the stitching would be much better than if you did it free-hand.

I do, I am actually writing them an email now to get an estimate on how much it will cost to get the team crest, my number, and possibly a name bar done so I might as well ask them about that. However, I have figured out how to do the quarter method ( I think lol ) so if it is a crazy price then I'll just stick with that I guess.
